What Makes Us Different
As an organization with homes exclusively in Minneapolis, Alliance is able to build strong relationships with both our residents and the neighborhoods in which they live. Our small size allows us to act nimbly and respond to resident needs in a manner similar to mutual aid, but our structure allows us to collaborate with other organizations to meet larger needs as well.
Our Impact by the Numbers
Every data point tells a story. In Minneapolis the data is telling a story of a housing crisis resulting in a critical need for affordable housing, particularly for our BIPOC neighbors as well as those with eviction, credit, and criminal history issues.
576 Residents Housed Last Year
27 Buildings Across Minneapolis
4.25 Years Average Residency in Alliance Buildings
35% Residents with a History of Homelessness
A Fresh Start in Elliot Park
2026 got off to a great start for Pat. After leaving drug treatment in summer 2025 she found herself without stable housing. Despite Pat’s initial belief she didn’t qualify to live at Kyle Garden Square, she moved into her own home there on New Year’s Eve.
At Kyle Garden Square (...) onsite Alliance partners Touchstone Mental Health and PSS, our property management partner, are there every step of the way and made the move-in process easy for Pat. Now Pat has a warm, safe place from which to launch the rest of her life.
